To form this spoon for scooping tea or sugar just a silversmith hammer, a carved wooden mould and an anvil are used. Each piece has its own surface structure, caused by the process of moulding the spoon stroke upon stroke.
The spoon’s shape is reduced to the very basic, resulting in an eccentric, ergonomic form, adjusted to the anatomy of the thumb.
